Selective plant breeding — this is growing plants and keeping the seeds of only the ones you like best because they have a trait you want. Maybe one plant made a super juicy tomato and you want your next ones to do the same. Long before the likes of CRISPR — this is one of the first GMO techniques in our toolbox.

We just need to change some hearts because the non-gmo campaigns have become a marketing machine meant to capitalize on fears rooted in misunderstanding
