nah. people in China don't find this scary or intimidating. it only looks that way from the US because we're not used to it. like when Boris Yeltsin came to the US and saw a supermarket for the first time

It's supposed to intimidate the US, not Chinese citizens, and US military planners got the message, because their weapon systems are vulnerable to large scale coordinated drone attacks on land and water

Drone shows like that happen every weekend in Shenzhen. US military has been well aware for a long time. At this point, it's not impressive from a military point of view.
