Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta
Ingredients:
8 oz spaghetti
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta: Boil spaghetti according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
Sauté Shrimp: In a large skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (about 3-4 minutes).
Combine: Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess.
Serve: Garnish with parsley and Parmesan. Enjoy!
