New tokenomics will fix that. No RPL required under the current leading proposal that will go to vote soon. Might not make you feel any better, but staking is a long term endeavor. RPL will rise again. I agree, though, that node operators should not have to get tangled up in speculation.

Three years in and Rocket Pool is STILL the most decentralized way that both LSD holders and operators can participate in Ethereum staking. Do I want more? Yes. But I'm still over the moon for the benefit that RP brings the chain.

A simple change to issuance like this will not stop LST dominance but it WILL kill off many Rocket Pool node operators who are far more sensitive to rate changes. If the goal is to keep Ethereum's solo stakers relevant, than this approach is not sufficient. 1/n
