Our biggest failure this cycle has been falling well behind in the narrative game. We've let VC's, devs and bag holders of other L1 spew lies, misinformation and FUD about Ethereum while letting them get away with pumping their own bags via more lies and misinformation. Ethereum inherently has a narrative problem because of its complexities, "digital gold" has been so easy for TradeFi to spread the message for, ETH could never match that kind of meme, we have to play the longer game, educate and fight malicious misinformation and FUD on the way In fact this "digital gold" narrative for Bitcoin has been so nail on head that despite this extremely challenging macro backdrop it has performed so so well vs all other crypto assets (not just ETH). This is the result of BTC leading the narrative game so much right now

Other L1's have embraced the degenerate shady casino element of this space and seen huge gains vs ETH in doing so. Yes Ethereum is permissionless and so people can do anything they want on it but anyone who truly understands it's true long term potential understands that their voice as a part of layer zero is important in calling out bad actors, PnD's,zero sum activities and value extractors because if Ethereums only utility ends up being a global casino for degenerates then we've failed.
