You know that phase in the relationship where it's early on and you're still trying to impress each other? 

Well that's when my guy decided to kickstart my downhill mountain biking career. And being ever-so-smitten, who was I to say no?!

He took me to Whitefish Mountain Bike Park in Montana and we rode 20 miles of lift-accessed and cross country trails and I absolutely LOVED IT. 

As soon as we got home I got a hard tail (cuz baby steps) and we've been riding ever since.
