The US Federal Reserve System has lowered the key interest rate by 50 bp. Following the meeting on monetary policy, the US Federal Reserve System (FRS) has lowered the key interest rate to the range of 5.00%-4.75%. At 21:30 Moscow time, the head of the FRS, Jerome Powell, will speak at a press conference.
