Travel how you like, but here's some of my favorites

- 5k loop around the imperial palace grounds
- Wander around downtown Tokyo and let the vibe sink in. 
- Look for a small family-run restaurant that has almost all local people. Real hole-in-the-wall type joint. Eat there.
- Play Go at the NIhon Kiin: https://www.nihonkiin.or.jp/english/
- Train Karate at the JKA headquarters: https://www.jka.or.jp/en/headquarters-dojo/training-in-jka-hq-dojo-for-not-jka-members/
- Try a variety of different Japanese foods. No need to go for the super high-end stuff, but the mid-tier stuff above is often 🔥
- All the other standard tourist stuff is great, too.
