disappointed to see naval make such a common error. tokens work just like equity ownership in a business; a startup can be worth a billion dollars without a billion dollars changing hands. why is this so hard to understand?

I think the method is necessarily new; never before has crypto been used to fortify a fledgling crypto social network like this. It's also confusing: we want well intentioned, gritty creatives to seed the network. That /requires/ vague rules of conduct. We want the ppl who can figure it out 🌹
