Not going to take a screenshot because I don't want to doxx my phone number, but can't progress beyond the "Enter Phone Number" screen (japan number) (and agree with @downshift.eth on the landing page)

Oh I see, do you think that will be an adoption problem as long as phone numbers are required?

iā€™m very curious about their go to market strategyā€¦classic chicken-egg cold start problem where you have a two sided market with no participants at the beginning. very tough

Itā€™s something Iā€™ve been concerned about. Right now theyā€™re leveraging the existing Kin community to spread the word and engage but once the Code app is polished they need a marketing push towards developers and hopefully find a big partner

Micro transactions vs subscriptions for articles is probably the biggest use case the community brings up. 25 cents for an article could really add up for anyone with a decent following

yes! it's like a micro-gumroad...and an eventual goal of my own product, @microsub we're working on tip to read and tip to mint right now a lot of people who would pay $0.07 to read one post might not want to subscribe to you for $7 per month...or rather...why not split that $7 amongst 100 creators? (this is how microsub works currently)

Wow thereā€™s so many developers recognizing this needs to happen! Everyone has subscriptions and the frustration that comes with them. I think thereā€™s plenty of room for competition, it looks like youā€™ve got some good ideas too. I like the idea of splitting amongst multiple creators
