are frames able to detect whether they are being displayed in the mobile app vs desktop/web? trying to make a frame that performs differently on mobile vs desktop...

All frame interactions get proxied through Warpcast servers I believe. So can’t be done right now. This would be cool for some use cases. But has to be balanced with privacy.

this can’t be true for all clients, but helpful to know for warpcast perhaps this could come part of the spec to indicate device or os or whatever

Most other clients like Buttrfly and supercast use Neynar for frame interactions so requests are proxied too. But yeah this would have to be an update to the frame spec to pass a client/device id with the post request.
