can't disagree...have you seen any good write-ups on what would have happened if this much liquidity tried to move on EVM? very curious about this

very useful framing...i wonder what percentage of those solana requests were failing for reasons other than slippage. seemed like things held up pretty well, all things considered

i DO know that MEV operators on solana were sending a lot of spam about a year ago due to the low costs, but wonder if/how that has changed. i think they've taken some measures to combat MEV (@0xmert?)

will be keeping an eye out for any analyses i come across (i lack the skills and time to do any of this myself, really)

think about it like this; 

first few weeks of clanker raised gas prices on base by a few orders of magnitude, so much so that it was profitable for people to spam blocks fishing for a new clanker to buy up supply 

So I can only really use anecdotal / gut feeling to talk ab it but imagine clanker was limited to warpcast 

To give you an idea, phantom put a statement out saying they were getting about 1 million requests per minute for $TRUMP related stuff 

So if you put 2 and 2 together I think it spells it out although to your point it would be neat to see a more rigorous analysis
