of course what i'm trying to figure out at the moment is how do i want to go about bootstrapping the configuration for the very graph database that contains the configuration (leaning towards just …not)

in what, 25? years of doing this crap, the lesson i seem to be so resolutely against learning is that the work that i do to avoid doing other work more often than not just ends up being work that i do on top of that other work.

like how quickly "i don't wanna do $HARD_THING so i'll do $EASY_THING for now" turns into "welp $EASY_THING can't actually do the job"

part of the motivation for making a configuration ontology for Intertwingler is that it's hot-configurable over its own web interface.
