We've been conceptualizing the gamer data chain for several years. While there's many moving parts - its simple really. - Track gamer behaviour across games. - Get games to reward them. - Allow gamers to share in ad revenue from advertisers. - Reward gamers with ongoing referrals where they consistently receive a % of the lifetime transactions conducted by their onboarded friends. We're doing all of this at @kgen !

We've tapped into college communities which have a lot of gamers. Gathering them together in one platform & rewarding them with web3 incentives but web2 UX has worked well for us at @kgen !

So what is @kgen ? It's a community gaming ecosystem where gamers own their data and assets, seamlessly moving them across games. So what we've done is combine Web2 and Web3 tech for secure, transparent ownership through blockchain. Our ecosystem includes: 1. Gamers: Achieve financial independence, build reputations, and own digital assets. 2. Game Studios and Publishers: Use our gamified user acquisition platform to reach curated audiences and monetize games. 3. Brands: who engage with the gaming community and drive commerce. /kgen is gamer first: we're redistributing ad revenue to gamers, and catering to games of all sizes. Our goal may not be new i.e. to be ""adoption layer"" of Web3, but our approach is. It starts and ends with our decentralized community gaming network.

Folks, I'm relatively new here and experimenting so here it goes! My obsession over the last few years has been the simple yet powerful question: How can we bring a large number of users into Web3? Pretty quickly (and serendipitously), in 2021-22 I met @211119754646e1 (ex-CEO of one of one of India's largest listed gaming cos.) and the answer was evident: GAMING. Gaming is a natural fit for wide-scale adoption. Games are fun and almost everyone plays games. Plus web2 game distribution, ads and data handling had gaps that could be addressed by web3. This gap led us to starting and growing @kgen. TLDR /kgen is a community gaming network. We now have 5M users, 2M MAUs and a growing global community in India, Brazil and more. Amongst all things, our vision is to create a platform gamers can not only enjoy their favorite games but also benefit from the data they generate. There's much more to it and I can't wait to share more with the Farcaster community. Super excited to be here!

Agreed - but also being narrative proof is important depending on the season. Narratives change quick in our industry - it's important for products in our space to actually solve user problems with smooth UX first. Narratives can be leveraged but shouldn't be the north star
