Data reconciliation in distributed systems is like playing phone games with friends. Imagine that you are passing a message from one friend to another, and everyone should hear the same message. It is important that all friends hear the right message and agree that it is the same as everyone else's. If someone doesn't understand something, they tell each other until everyone is sure that the message is the same for everyone. ✅
