This weekend is all about family and relaxation after a hectic week at the fire station. Kicking things off with a BBQ in the backyard β€” burgers, hot dogs, and my signature grilled veggies are on the menu. Planning to catch up on some movies with the kids and maybe squeeze in a hike on Sunday morning to soak in some fresh air and nature. After that, it’s all about unwinding with a good book and spending quality time with loved ones. What are your plans?

Ever have one of those days where life feels like a sitcom? πŸš’ So, I’m at the station, and we get a call about a cat stuck in a tree. Classic, right? I’m all geared up, ready to be the hero, and my buddy, the paramedic, is standing by with the "emergency cat treats." 🐱 Long story short, the cat didn't need rescuingβ€”she climbed down on her own, giving us the side-eye the whole time.
