Do you also forget most of the books you read before or is it just me? If I'm going to forget, then what's the point of reading a book??

I guess thepoint is the pleasure of living in the skin of other people and experience different lives. There is even a famous quote "From that time on, the world was hers for the reading. She would never be lonely again, never miss the lack of intimate friends.Books became her friends and there was one for every mood.

I only highlight the important parts of my books and read them again later because after a few months I forget them all.

I think that the points that were important to us while reading the book will always remain in our subconscious mind and we will use them unconsciously.

It depends on what book you are going to read. Some can stay in your memory for always.
