🪙 Poseidon algorithm; Ethereum's new app? Vitalic Borotin has announced that Ethereum is investigating the use of the Poseidon Hash algorithm to optimize its performance by proving zero-prover. He urged researchers to examine the security of the algorithm to find out more. The Poseidon algorithm is a lightweight and efficient hash function designed for modern encryption systems and privacy technologies such as zero knowledge proofs. Also, the deadline for applying for Poseidon Research Assistance has been extended by March 15, 2025.
