Some moments hit so hard, whether it’s a word, a perspective, or an unexpected comment, that i wish i could record them exactly as they are, with all the feelings attached. Just remembering isn’t enough. i want to keep them raw, untouched, like they happened. if only something in me could save them without breaking the moment.
Maybe as tech and ai evolve, we’ll move closer to that. A way to record everything as we live it, like storing memories as files. In the tv series years and years, people get surgeries to embed cameras and recording tools into their bodies. Maybe that’s where we’re headed. Plastic surgery is everywhere now and maybe one day, upgrading our senses and memory will feel just as normal.
But would that divide our attention, forcing us to choose between living and recording? Or would it create a new kind of unity, where memory and perception blend so naturally that there’s no difference between experiencing and remembering? 0 reply
