most tech divides people like this. eventually the optimists win, but the paths can be quite different than the earliest optimistic proposals claim so examples that had such division: internet, web, e-commerce, search, social networking, microblogging, iphone

finding people who want to earn for doing tasks is so easy it’s not worth solving, they will just show up finding people who want to pay to get something done that fits into this micro-transaction/crypto model is challenging and where all the effort should be placed
