Someone once shared how they got caught in a sudden downpour while walking home. They hadn’t checked the weather and didn’t have an umbrella. As they stood under a tree trying to stay dry, another person walked by with a large umbrella. Without hesitation, the stranger invited them to walk together under the umbrella. Grateful and surprised by the kindness, they walked in comfortable silence until their paths separated. They couldn’t stop thinking about how a small gesture had completely changed a soaking wet, frustrating moment into something unexpectedly positive.
