As an Atleti fan I hated to see us get eliminated but in the manner it happened made it even worse....

So the thing is Var has a semi-automation technology that they use to track these things, they track about 26 different player body parts too... So according to them and the data from the technology Julian left leg touched the ball prior to him kicking it and slipping. 

And according to the rules the goal should be disallowed which rules out the possibility of a retake.

Yeah the rule is the rule even if it was harsh on us... We'll be back next season I guess 🤞.

This would have to be the negative aspect of it because clearly the player slipped and also I don't get why keepers get a second chance for jumping of the line but players in the case of accidents don't...  well I do hope UEFA releases the data that made them conclude that Julian touched the ball twice. 
But again just with the adjustments made in the offside rule about the hand being in a natural position, this rule should also be adjusted to kinda reduce too much technicality and room for error
