As an Atleti fan I hated to see us get eliminated but in the manner it happened made it even worse.... So the thing is Var has a semi-automation technology that they use to track these things, they track about 26 different player body parts too... So according to them and the data from the technology Julian left leg touched the ball prior to him kicking it and slipping. And according to the rules the goal should be disallowed which rules out the possibility of a retake. Yeah the rule is the rule even if it was harsh on us... We'll be back next season I guess 🤞.
