In light of the $ticker fiasco I thought I'd share some insights on the correlation between content and project legitimacy. Thread below 👇

/Content is king. If a project has quality (non-ai) blog posts, videos and SM content that adds value outside of pure self-promotion, it is a huge green flag.

/ scammers rarely put in the time for content. Pump and dumps, rug pulls, and your run of the mill scams won't take the time to inform, educate and create using content.

/ content creators have reputations If someone (especially writers) is taking the time to create content for a project, their reputation is on the line if it rugs. If they are taking the time to write full blown SEO articles for a product, it is likely legit. (Less relevant for SM 'influencers' unfortunately)

/ All content has a foundation. Content creators (again mostly writers) need something to base their content on. They have insights into the inner workings of a project. If it's a rug, 99% of the time content creators will know, and will refuse to make the content.
