Fact!!! I never expected Liverpool to spend that big on a player that is not even established yet I mean, we scouted Virgil for years before spending big on him

Football has totally changed, before it was a big player that has performed for several season teams will lavish on. Not some player that performed in a particular competition with too much PR and team begin to bargain with a lot of money on him.
