is it just me or is perplexity totally washed? they have no moat, have barely any market share, lack clear direction, wasting money on celebrity marketing, the list of red flags goes on. who is funding this?

Kind of agreed but has anybody else made any real progress in combining paid ads with ai searches? might not be a moat but big first mover advantage. google never had a moat with their ads except for distribution.
