1) Something was probably in the works before Trump. There have been rumours about Hutchison wanting to sell but there are few potential buyers and even fewer flush with cash so it's not exactly a bidding war. The main alternative buyer would have been DP World (UAE-based).

Ooh yes for sure. Was it in the works much before Trump,? How much of this is a geopolitical play? Are they buying from Hutchinson? They have 2 of the 5 ports right?
