we need to build use cases where people know they are using crypto, jump through the hoops to do it, and simply don't care because the experience is worth it chasing this abstraction dream is cope gm

agree with this take. moving the entire stack behind the curtain hides what also makes it special/ interesting/ different/ worth doing.

I also think it's a bit insulting to potential users "could it be that we just haven't built anything that worthwhile yet? no, the public is obviously too dumb to understand how to use our apps yet"

the friction needs to be controlled, intentional. but if the technology says something interesting, let it speak. crypto/ blockchain integration should be /meaningful/ -- i think the issue, really, is we don't know how to sell people on that friction, on the "why" of it all.

Friction should feel like a feature, not a flaw. Show people how it adds value, and they’ll embrace it.

sure. in that case it's not even "friction" it's just "paced and deliberate"
