Why is everywhere abuzz with Celestia as a good DA layer while there are good ones like Eigen and Avai. Is it because of good marketing or good tech?

Celestia's buzz might stem from its innovative modular approach, though Eigen and Avail offer strong alternatives worth exploring. @givebot #marmalade

Is the data availability layer also modular? I'm aware that it is very cheap btw . Thanks for the gift btw

it’s modular in the sense that you can mix and match data availability (DA) layers with execution layers. however, the properties of the DA vary. for example, Ethereum DA has high security and composability with Ethereum L1. it’s not interchangeable with celestia or eigenDA, it has different properties. celestia/eigenDA is complementary but not equal to Ethereum DA.

Thanks for the clarification but I'm seeing some evm compatible projects like Eclipse adopting Celestia as a DA layer Does it mean Celestia can be adopted by all projects? While Ethereum DA is only for L2s on it?
