hey folks!

the next phase isn’t ready yet, but people are eager for an update so i’ll say what i can at this point

first, to address any misconceptions:
- i haven’t bailed
- i haven’t taken any money (literally none)

the mint was free and the royalty is set to 0%

this means i made 0 from the mint and 0 from when the NFTs are traded. this is verifiable on chain

Solcaster is a community project and this structure is important to me

the next phase will also follow the same structure

i recognize now that such a large percentage was taken by scalpers precisely because the mint was free

it’s important to not let that happen again AND keep the mints free

…which is the problem i’m trying to solve right now

it’s been one week since the mint and i’ve been watching and learning from the action

unfortunately, i believe a large portion of the mint was minted by scalpers

the scalpers immediately started listing the NFTs and killed our momentum
