imo one of the ways smaller brands can have a positive impact on sustainability without having to spend lots of money on sustainable manufacturers and materials is to leverage co-creation

Today, many people buy garments only to wear them a few times before replacing them indefinitely. Think about what would happen if they could co-create the garments they buy; if they invested their emotions into each piece, forming an emotional attachment to it

imo the answer is pretty clear: they wouldn’t discard them as quickly, if at all. The garments would hold much more meaning and value to them

And this, to be honest, is not just a way for smaller brands to be more sustainable but also a way to make the entire fashion industry more sustainable🌹
