The Dune Index measures meaningful blockchain adoption across networks by combining three standardized metrics: transaction fees, net USD transferred, and transaction count. This helps differentiate between speculation and actual sustainable usage of blockchain technology.

The index currently stands at 57, well below its ATH of 87 reached in Nov 2021. While transaction fees and transfer volume remain at low levels, the number of transactions has hit an ATH of 173M in the first week of this Nov.
