The warthog is trending for his taunts of deadlier animals and his attempts to escape chases from them. These include animals like lions, leopards and hyenas.
His daring escapes, often into its pre-dug tunnels (burrows), is generating memes online. It is labelled V12 twin turbo engine leading to suggestions that it is the fastest land animal on earth on account of fruitless chases by lions, leopards, wild dogs and hyenas that we see online.
What many people don’t know is that there are many videos of successful chases and take downs by some of the deadlier animals. The warthog mainly fights back with his tusks but it stands little chance when caught.
The warthog is nowhere near the fastest animal on earth. The title remains undeniably with the CHEETAH with speed nearly twice that of the warthog. It means that with a 100 meters head-start, the cheetah will beat the warthog in a 300 meters dash.
