I would have to say indoor plumbing. Being able to wash our hands, take showers, drink water, take dumps, all from inside the comfort and security of our living space, without needing to go outdoors where weather can be a factor. I really wouldn’t have to go to back to the days of going to an outhouse, shitting in a hole, then wiping our asses with a corn husk that was already used by another person.
