I understand why it’s the case because of having 5 years of control, but the nfl first round has turned into a full on crapshoot for QBs. Maybe I’m wrong and this will be a generational class, doesn’t feel that way to me

The bears could really use a franchise QB. There’s no doubt he’s very talented. I personally like Drake Maye a lot due to his size and more prototypical pro skillset. Size and pocket presence concern me a little about CW. I’m not an evaluator though nor can I speak to his projected development, football mind, etc
