Hey! Prop 40 is a community counterproposal to Prop 39. It is a call to pause, clarify, and separate some of the items being proposed. Prop 39 combines a renewal for the Ops Lead which duties have not been completed since the last renewal AND the creation of a new legal entity that could control a fiat bank account and treasury off-ramp. Prop 40 suggests that this should be split into separate proposals for transparency and clearer governance. It’s about making sure we know exactly what we’re voting on—and giving the community a real voice in the process. Happy to answer more questions if helpful!
