🚨 Don't use Render in production 🚨

Unreliable. I've seen our DB connections get super slow > Render's own admin interface down > status.render.com still green.

This morning we saw over two hours downtime. (They admit 1.5.)

My responsibility, buck stops with me. Switching to AWS & adding redundancy.

AWS is too much devOps, if the team is small, try DigitalOcean, we’re using them, so far so good.

AWS is stupid overpriced and I agree, the amount of unnecessary complexity (at least, it's unnecessary for 75%+ of teams/users) gets frustrating real fast.  I've had good experience with DO myself, used them for years - though I personally prefer Vultr to them, myself.
