💸 THE TRILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: WILL WE HAVE ALTSEASON? 🔥 The Crypto Twitter (CT) is in chaos! Most people are confused, with "OG" crypto influencers contradicting themselves throughout the year, causing rage among the unaware who parachute into this wild west, aka the crypto market. Here’s a 🧵 on how I’m seeing all this:

1) The Market is like a POKER game: A strong mental game full of bluffing, where you’re influenced to think and act the way you do. 1.1 Market Makers (MMs) will push your mental limits. Clear your mind and avoid basing your decisions on price alone. Follow cycles, narratives, and think ahead: Seek ALTs with intersections in emerging narratives, such as regulation (e.g., Fee Switch Season), interest from MMs and stakeholders both inside and outside crypto. Ask yourself what these players will pump, where they’re investing, and what they’re "driving" the retail crowd towards. Focus on fundamentals and attention-grabbing assets: Look for projects with asymmetric market caps (MCAP) compared to well-capitalized ones within the same narrative. Example: DeFi on Solana (NFA). 1.2 Think like institutions, not how they want you to think. They’ll squeeze your mental, liquidity, patience, and confidence—whether through charts, fundamentals, cults, or whatever justification you use to hold onto your assets.

2) MACRO MATTERS—A LOT. A $500 billion market is much more manipulable than a $3 trillion one. The crypto market has evolved; moving its liquidity now requires much more capital. That volume will only come from billionaire investors (aged 60-80) who dominate the financial and economic systems globally. They oscillate between economic cycles, allocating billions to fixed and variable income depending on the market. Crypto is high risk, and trillions will only flow in when these big players see favorable economic conditions.

3) My Opinions: For a true altseason, as people expect, the crypto market would need to go from $3 trillion to $6-8 trillion. That kind of significant capital will only come from these billionaire "eagles" when they realize the economic cycle is turning, with potential interest rate cuts ahead and clear asymmetry staring them in the face. These players don’t play to lose—they aim to print billions/trillions during a "cheap money" narrative. Let’s assume macro didn’t matter as a "science"—even so, MMs and major players operate on the consensus that macro is fundamental for liquidity injection. This influences retail liquidity, creating a domino effect. This becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, much like chart patterns in technical analysis: Even if they aren’t scientifically valid, they often materialize because the market interprets them as consensus. MMs and bots know this, and retail behavior becomes predictable—until a major catalyst breaks the pattern.

3.1) Can you profit regardless of macro? Yes. By navigating crypto sub-niches and filtering narratives from the majority, who have no idea what they’re doing. If you’ve managed to outperform Bitcoin’s benchmark, congratulations—you’ve likely mastered narratives, airdrops, DeFi, bots, quick capital rotation, and more. But you’re still playing in a market of millions (maybe billions)—far from the trillions of total MCAP. 4) What I’m Doing: Avoiding leverage. Studying daily for over 3 years: airdrops, macro, DeFi, and the market in general.

4.1 Airdrops: This remains one of the greatest opportunities of the past decade in any market. Holding majors alone won’t beat the benchmark. Farming airdrops diversifies your portfolio and gives you ongoing "lottery tickets" for new protocols in DeFi. Many times, you get rewarded simply for existing in Web3—like with PYTH and CELESTIA. 4.2 Macro: I’ve been following @IgorMundstock and other macro experts for almost 2 years, learning a lot. I’m far from being an expert, but it’s significantly improved my decision-making. I typically DCA (dollar-cost average) on days with positive macro data (inflation vs. employment). Don’t say, "I’m not an economist." You’re also not a software engineer, telecom expert, or angel investor to buy altcoins, tech tokens, or memes. We learn everything in life—the more you study, the sharper your choices will be.

4.3 DeFi: Beyond earning airdrops, DeFi lets you surf attention with swing trades. It’s one of the cycle’s major narratives, especially with regulation and presidents holding DeFi tokens, launching projects, and even creating memecoins. If you’re not bullish on this, you probably missed the point of this thread. The "owners of the world" don’t play to lose, and I’ll align my moves with theirs.

5) Impacts and Changes: Crypto projects can’t distribute dividends or similar incentives yet, or they risk massive fines (millions or billions) from regulators like the SEC. For the first time in 4 years, I feel this could change. Strong political and stakeholder positioning, combined with geopolitical and financial pressures, makes regulation closer than ever. DeFi has real value—e.g., reducing VISA/MASTER dominance, deflating product/service costs by 1-10%, and enabling scale across fiat or crypto.

6) Artificial Intelligence: Don’t fade AI. Remember the self-fulfilling prophecy? Same deal here. NVIDIA’s MCAP is larger than the entire crypto market combined. Imagine the liquidity shift if institutions recognize the asymmetries that only exist in crypto.

7) Memes: I still believe in cults. The market grows increasingly selective, with billions of memes created. Keep an eye on new narratives: Celebrity coins and MEME AIRDROPS (PVE vs. PPP). The largest FDVs will remain cults until the bull/bear shift. The rest are wild cards.

8) Conclusion: WILL WE HAVE ALTSEASON? YES! Eventually. It’s already here for some selective tokens and will likely continue to be highly selective—unless we see a pandemic-like QE injection of liquidity, which I find unlikely. #Crypto #Altseason #DeFi #Airdrops #Criptomoedas #Web3 #MercadoFinanceiro #Investimentos #Bitcoin #Altcoins #NarrativasCrypto #RegulaçãoCrypto #MarketMakers #Macroeconomia #Memecoins #TradingCrypto #CicloEconômico #EstratégiasDeInvestimento #InteligenciaArtificial #CryptoNews #CryptoInsights
