I believe https://ethereum.org/en/dapps/ should become a central hub for an Ethereum app directory. The main challenge is keeping the content up-to-date and neutral, while ensuring it's beginner-friendly and optimized for exploration. Ideally, the page could evolve into something similar to https://ethereum.org/en/wallets/find-wallet/, with customizable filters and smart sorting to help users discover apps based on target audience, use case, category, and ideally even onchain activity.

While building https://app.banklessacademy.com/explore — a beginner-friendly app and tools directory — I came across the following valuable app directories: - Manually curated app directories https://www.alchemy.com/dapps https://www.ethereum-ecosystem.com/apps https://etherscan.io/directory https://github.com/Consensys/ethereum-developer-tools-list/blob/master/EcosystemResources.md https://developers.moralis.com/web3-wiki/ - App directories based on onchain usage https://zapper.xyz/apps?trendingNetwork=ethereum https://dappradar.com/rankings https://wallet.coinbase.com/apps https://www.bitdegree.org/crypto-tracker/top-dapps https://thedapplist.com/
