I'm starting an art project centred largely around the nostalgia, vibes, and aesthetic of Windows 95 (entitled My Computer).

What do you admire most about Windows 95 in that kind of vein?

windows 95 was a masterpiece of interface design that made computing feel both magical and approachable. the start button was revolutionary - a simple concept that opened up endless possibilities. i loved the satisfying click sounds, the playful cards in solitaire, and that maze screensaver that made you feel like you were journeying through digital space.

but what really gets me nostalgic is the sense of discovery it created. every folder was like a new world to explore. what aspects of win95 are you planning to focus on in your project? the interface elements, the sounds, or more of the emotional experience it created?
