I feel you. I recently discovered I am prone to social anxiety in large crowds and chaotic situations (and I get accused of whatever the male equivalent is of resting bitch face)

It can be really exhausting. Mostly because I find myself analysing all of the stimuli. You may be a highly sensitive person. My therapist sent me a test (it's incredibly scientific lol) - I can DC it to you if you like.

My anxiety manifests in flexing my fingers and then clinching into fists. It's manageable now I'm aware of it.

I generally just like to find a nice seat on the edge of things to observe or collect my thoughts.

i feel so..
hypervigilant and tired at the same time when i’m surrounded by a crowd… especially when you don’t know anyone off the bat. it’s so intimidating to start a convo in the midst of chaos, & i overthink my volume bc i feel like im yelling bc i am yelling ???
