I want to start a dialogue. Why is Luka not the favorite to win MVP with the 34.3 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 9.6 apg statline. Not like theyโre that far back in the top seed playoff raceโฆ

I feel like everyone is sleeping on Tatum too- numbers were bound to dip with Porzingis in the fold. Leading the #1 seed in the East. Never sure if MVP voting is based on best stats or the person most valuable to their respective team. Feel like itโs always a moving target depending on the year and contestant pool

MVP is mostly narrative based. Voters don't seem to like Tatum or the narrative around him.
