There will not be a crypto super app in the West. Most Western users do not want to iMessage inside their Robinhood app then tab over to scroll TikTok in that same app. And builders of elite messaging apps are not going to be the same builders who make elite trading apps or social feed apps.

I’ll take the other side of this bet; notifications, UIs and recommendations are much more natural within one app than across many at the operating level. Within crypto all the apps are competing for the same onchain/onhub notifications, and having 4 apps with the same notifications blasting is not fun

the other side of this is that the OS has always been the superapp; with apple pay dominating its only a matter of time before deeper superapp-like features emerge
