it's the previous frame + the action taken by the user (like which button was pressed) to let you figure out the next frame. Open to new ideas for a new for this. thought about context but this could be confused for react context

what is previousFrame in frame.js? it is confusing me 😅

yep it is! it's not in spec, we're putting params in the post_url automatically so it's easier to work with. Less helpful now that redirects are sane, but pre action type "link" was very helpful for redirects

Can you please explain `getPreviousFrame` in framesjs? Is that data coming from the search params? I don't see anything in the official spec about that. Thanks!

state page string name + button idx is a good way to go. 

Alternatively lots of if statements in the component.

Best way to handle transitions between frames? Using button idx can be unstable, especially if a response fails to generate.

Is there any reason why a frame image shows fine on desktop but won’t appear on warpcast app? We are using satori to generate the image fyi
