1. Google searches, Search forums and slacks, sometimes but rarely ask others or post a question. Depends on the kind of question or knowledge, sometimes slacks are much better. Posting on twitter usually gets me 0 replies and takes time. Could imagine posting on twitter if I had a big enough audience there.

I‘m somewhat of an introvert and I also have the habit of self reliance even when I should ask for help/advice. To some degree I also think using the internet gets a broader sample of answers, quicker, at the cost of less trust and more work to tease out signal from paid promotion,spam and people with other preferenc

I feel you on the habit of self reliance. So for you, the quick, broad answers is valuable enough to outweigh the pain of the work to tease out the promotions/spam/bias?
