This is where the company is listed on the stock exchange, not where it's founded or HQed. US has stronger capital network effects which are largely winner take all, which is why EU companies list in the US. Example: Booking. com is listed on the left, but it was founded in Amsterdam and is still HQ in Amsterdam :)
