People talk as if Ethereum just sat around for 5 years. Couldn’t be more wrong! For true scaling you need mature PoS and modular architecture, and that took time. As we are (finally) about to hit rapid crypto adoption, this competitive edge in soundness & robustness will matter.

You have to be extremely dumb to think that L2s subsidizing transactions is actually bearish for ETH Mfers fudded ETH's UX, then when L2s are fast, cheap and, in certain cases, FREE to use, then they say it's all bad.

The VC silence on Hyperliquid should show you in complete transparency all you need to know about them. Most of them will never even talk about anything that they are not allocated to - and if they do talk about it, it will almost always be negatively. Study incentives.

We’re working EXTREMELY hard to collect data and will release a formal recommendation soon. Personally, I’m leaning toward Approach 2. I will post some relevant addresses below -- but all you need to do to verify the numbers is to watch their wsol balance go up in real time.

The Pectra upgrade uses a concept called system contracts. This is an approach we used EIP-4788 for the Beacon block root in the EVM for the Dencun upgrade. The Pectra upgrade introduces atleast 3 new system contracts, i.e for consolidations, withdrawals and blockhash lookup.

Interest rates on USDC in the same protocol (AaveV3) are widely different. That shows current L2s are just loosely connected chains, not the same economic zone. Therefore, they don't benefit from nor contribute to Ethereum's economic network effects. Only native L2s would do!
