Tensions are rising in the debate centered around zkVM performance. Those with zero-knowledge expertise may be able to decipher the convoluted results of a purposely opaque benchmarking exercise. But newcomers to the ZK space are surely confused and likely turned-off by what has become a shouting match with no empirical methodology or transparency.

This just proves that there is a great need for a fair and transparent benchmarking tool like Proof Arena. Where results are impossible to forge and easy to replicate. As an industry we must work together to encourage innovation and adoption of ZK and what we’re seeing right now is not the way.
