I made an ENS Renewals module.

ENS is the most adopted autonomous domain system.

It allows anyone to own a piece of the global router.

The only problem is that there is no "auto-renewal" function built-in at the protocol level.

If you have 1 or 2 domains, not a big deal. If you have tens or hundreds, nightmare.

Here's how the module works:

Any 7579-compatible smart account needs to install it first.

You can specify what domains to include or exclude, as well as the renewal duration.

Now, ANY ethereum wallet can renew your wallets using your balance as long as it fits the criteria you defined.

It's still an open question how to properly incentivise external accounts to "execute" the modules.

Ideally, there would be a fully onchain network of keepers getting paid to work for you.

For now, we can resolve to offchain services like @rhinestone Automations.

There are so many ideas when it comes to executors. Automated payroll, onchain SaaS subscriptions, "if-this-then-that" workflows, token conversions based on market conditions, ERC20 revocations in case of a hack, and much, much more.

Executors are plugins that let you codify specific behaviours.

My thesis is that every protocol will have a few of them to boost the adoption and retention.

I chose ENS as the most straightforward case to reason and implement.
