Scenario: 10 hour roundtrip flight.

Ticket: $5,000.
Perks: Slightly wider chair, champagne at altitude, and the ability to judge people walking past you.

Worth it? Or nah?

i'm all for spending extra to be comfortable. have done lay flat bus. class back and forth to japan a couple of times and it was amazing. used airline miles to purchase instead of cold hard cash though, so it stings a little less.
